Building the Future: Wind Turbine Tower Erection in Full Swing
July, 2025
Crews Achieve Key Installation Goals as Turbine Towers Rise on Site
The wind turbine installation project is rapidly advancing as crews complete critical foundation work and begin full-scale tower erection. Over the past several months, the team has poured multiple foundations and pedestals, preparing each site for the arrival and installation of turbine towers. With deliveries of two towers arriving weekly, the project has now reached the exciting stage of erecting these structures, bringing the vision of a renewable energy facility closer to reality.
Currently, four of the 25 planned towers have been partially erected, with one additional tower staged and ready for installation. Using the powerful LR1600 crane, crews are assembling each tower in four sections — base, mid-one, mid-two, and top — before mounting the nacelle and connecting the hub and blades to complete the turbine structure.
The site’s south laydown yard has been fully developed, serving as the central hub for turbine storage, office trailers, and crew parking. Crane pads have been constructed at each turbine location to support safe and efficient installation operations.
Crew morale has reached new heights as months of groundwork are transforming into visible results. Seeing the towers rise has energized the team, reinforcing the importance of their hard work and dedication. This milestone marks a major step forward in delivering a clean energy solution that will contribute to a more sustainable future.
This project demonstrates a seamless integration of heavy civil construction, logistics, and renewable technology — laying the foundation for a greener tomorrow.
