Project Manager Intern
Overview:
The Project Manager Intern will work closely with our experienced project management team to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in project management within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Location:
This position will be based at our Fresno office with occasional travel to project sites as required.
PAY:
$18-$22 per hour
DUTIES:
• Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Documentation: Assist in maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project files.
• Communication: Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and standards, identifying areas for improvement.
• Problem Solving: Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Learning and Development: Actively participate in project management training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
SAFETY:
• Project Manager Interns must comply with all company IIPP standards and company safe practices along with OSHA requirements/p>
SKILLS:
• Currently enrolled in (or completed) a degree program in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, other construction related job software a plus.
• Ability to occasionally travel to jobsites.
• Ability and desire to work in fast paced environment.
