Project Engineer Intern
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Engineer Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in the field of engineering while contributing to real-world projects. As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team, assisting in the planning and execution of various projects.
Location:
745 Broadway St, Fresno, CA 93721
with occasional travel to project sites as needed
PAY:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
DUTIES:
• Project Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of project activities, including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Field Work: Participate in field inspections, data collection, and site visits to gain hands-on experience and ensure project requirements are met.
• Documentation: Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during project implementation, proposing viable solutions to overcome challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Learning and Development: Take advantage of learning opportunities provided by the company to enhance technical skills and knowledge in engineering principles and practices.
SAFETY:
• Project Manager Interns must comply with all company IIPP standards and company safe practices along with OSHA requirements.
SKILLS:
• Currently enrolled in (or completed) a degree program in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, other construction related job software a plus.
• Strong organizational and reasoning skills.
• Ability to occasionally travel to jobsites.
• Ability and desire to work in fast paced environment.
