Rex Jorn

Rex Jorn joined Clark Bros., Inc. (CBI) in May 2015 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of CBI and CBI Power. In this executive leadership role, Rex oversees company-wide project management at the highest level, including team development, contract administration, client relations, cost management, and execution strategy. He plays a key role in guiding CBI’s operations and ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Rex began his career as a union carpenter in 1994, steadily advancing through the ranks as a foreman, superintendent, project manager, director, and vice president. Prior to joining CBI, he held leadership roles where he managed large-scale infrastructure projects, primarily within the water and wastewater sectors.

Rex’s technical expertise is rooted in concrete construction, with extensive experience in bridges, large tanks and basins, suspended concrete floors, and complex structural systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. His background also includes mechanical piping, process machinery, and deep foundations. In recent years, Rex has expanded his focus to encompass large-scale EPC renewable energy projects, bringing deep insight into team building, leadership development, and contract negotiation.

Under Rex’s leadership, CBI has successfully executed increasingly complex projects while maintaining or exceeding bid-day margins. Rex takes the greatest pride in the development of CBI’s next generation of leaders, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence across all levels of the organization.
