The Rexford 1 project involves the development and operation of a ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) facility with a capacity of up to 400 megawatts (MW). Additionally, the project includes the implementation of an energy storage system (ESS) with a storage capacity of up to 180 MW, an on-site substation, transmission and collector lines, and associated components. The installations will cover approximately 1,479 acres of land historically used for agricultural purposes in unincorporated Tulare County, California.
Power generated by Rexford 1 will be transmitted to the Southern California Edison (SCE) providing enough energy for over 370,000 Californians.
Clark Bros Inc., scope of work included clearing and grubbing, demolition of existing structures, SWPPP, site grading, access roadway construction, and laydown yard. Clark Bros, Inc. moved over 1 million cubic yards of soil on this project.
